Pressure sensors typically refer to sensitive components that convert changing pressure signals into corresponding changing resistance or capacitance signals, such as piezoresistive and piezoelectric capacitive components
Usually, sensors consist of two parts, namely sensitive components and conversion components. Among them, sensitive components refer to the parts of the sensor that can directly sense or respond to the tested object; The conversion element refers to a part of a sensor that converts the measured strain sensed or responded by the sensitive element into an electrical signal suitable for transmission or measurement
Pressure transmitters generally refer to a complete set of circuit units that measure pressure, consisting of pressure sensitive components and conditioning circuits. They can generally directly output standard voltage or current signals that are linearly related to pressure, for direct collection by instruments, PLCs, acquisition cards, and other devices
Because the output signal of the sensor is generally weak, modulation and amplification are required. With the development of integrated technology, people have also placed this part of the circuit and power supply circuit together in sensors. In this way, the sensor can output useful signals that are easy to process and transmit.
